Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012 | Blog

The “unplugged” lecture series at AAU Web Design + New Media continues! Brion fried our brains with his presentation of the agile design process and now Shirley will lift our spirits and get the best out of our performance. As always, this talk is open to the public, so if you are in San Francisco we will see you there.

SHIRLEY DORRITIE

MONDAY, OCTOBER 8

7–9 PM

Web Design + New Media Gallery Fiſth Floor, 180 New Montgomery

You’ve worked hard to get where you are. You’ve trained, prepared, brainstormed and created some great stuff. Now it’s time to make sure you can present your work so that it gets the respect it deserves! This workshop will help you discover your personal responses to the pressure and intensity of presenta- tions, pitches and interviews. You will learn how anticipate these responses and develop tools to cope with them so you will KNOW you can deliver your BEST when the pressure is on!

Shirley Stratton Dorritie specializes in training performers throughout the world for optimal achievement. A licensed psychotherapist (MFC41061) and founder of The Center for Performance and Achievement, Shirley has worked with a broad spectrum of individuals who are required to manage their responses to stress in order to perform at their best when they are under pressure—including corporate executives, police, fire and paramedic personnel, as well as performers, athletes, educators, choreographers and conductors throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
